Overview
We are seeking an experienced Epic Analyst with certifications in Clin Doc and Orders, and a strong understanding of nursing workflows to support a virtual nursing initiative. This is a 9-month contract role beginning in December, with a high-impact scope focused on optimizing Epic systems to support virtual nursing practices.
Duties:

Partner with clinical and technical teams to design and implement Epic workflows that support virtual nursing initiatives.

Leverage Clin Doc and Orders tools to develop and optimize documentation and ordering workflows specific to remote nursing care.

Build, test, and deploy Epic solutions that align with nursing best practices and project goals.

Analyze clinical requirements and translate them into effective Epic system configurations.

Support go-live activities, user training, and post-implementation troubleshooting for virtual nursing workflows.

Collaborate with nursing leadership and informatics teams to ensure alignment with clinical standards and goals.

Maintain clear documentation of build decisions, workflows, and user guides throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills:
-
Epic Certifications in Clin Doc and Orders (current and in good standing).

Proven experience with nursing workflow design and optimization within Epic.

Strong understanding of inpatient care processes and remote/virtual care models.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.

Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:

Minimum 5 years of Epic build/support experience in clinical documentation and ordering workflows.

Experience supporting virtual care or telehealth programs within a health system preferred.

Previous participation in a time-bound Epic implementation or optimization project preferred.
Education:

Bachelor’s Degree required.

Registered Nurse (RN) or other clinical background strongly preferred.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $135,000 to $160,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
