Job DescriptionThe Big Picture
We’re looking for a friendly, sharp, and dependable Director of First Impressions to be the front-line ambassador of Signarama Evansville. This role goes far beyond answering phones. You are the first voice people hear, the first face they see, and often the glue that keeps the office running smoothly.
If you love helping people, staying organized, juggling lots of small (but important) tasks, and being part of a fast-moving, team-oriented environment, this role may be a great fit.
What You’ll Do
As Director of First Impressions, you’ll support customers, sales, and the internal team in a variety of ways:
Front Desk & Customer Experience
- Greet walk-in customers and visitors warmly and professionally
- Answer phones, route calls, and help customers get to the right person quickly
- Create a welcoming, calm, and organized front-of-house experience
- Assist customers with basic questions, order status inquiries, and pickups
Shipping & Receiving
- Receive incoming packages and deliveries
- Prepare outgoing shipments, create shipping labels, and coordinate pickups
- Ensure orders are packed accurately and shipped on time
- Keep shipping areas organized and supplies stocked
Administrative & Clerical Support
- Assist with light administrative tasks across departments
- Enter small orders, update records, and support basic data entry
- Help with filing, scanning, emailing, and general office organization
- Support the sales and production teams with “many-hands” tasks that keep work moving
Light Sales & Project Support
- Assist sales team with simple customer follow-ups and order coordination
- Help track order pickups, past-due invoices, or customer notifications
- Serve as a helpful bridge between customers, sales, and production
- Escalate questions appropriately while maintaining great customer service
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly, professional, and confident communicator (in person and on the phone)
- Highly organized and comfortable juggling multiple tasks at once
- Detail-oriented and reliable
- Comfortable using computers, email, and basic office software
- Enjoys helping others and being part of a team
- Prior receptionist, admin, customer service, or office support experience is a plus (but not required)
