Overview

The Software Developer will be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving internal applications that support daily business operations. This role involves working with multiple technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring systems remain efficient and reliable.


This is a Permanent Hire role that will require a hybrid work schedule.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and support in-house applications using PHP, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Design and refine database queries, stored procedures, and data models to ensure accuracy and performance.
  • Work with operational teams to understand requirements and deliver effective, scalable solutions.
  • Partner with fellow developers to maintain coding standards and system consistency.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues across applications, ensuring minimal downtime for business-critical systems.
  • Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and version control processes.
  • Generate system reports and dashboards using SQL-based reporting tools.
  • Apply best practices for security, stability, and performance in both code and database environments.


Qualifications

  • Strong background in relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
  • Proficiency in web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with business applications or ERP integrations is advantageous.
  • Solid analytical, communication, and documentation abilities.
  • Capable of managing priorities and handling multiple assignments concurrently.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3–5 years of software development experience with emphasis on PHP and SQL.
