Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting student success in a dynamic educational environment near Easton, MD! Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to a diverse caseload spanning secondary and elementary settings throughout the 2026-2027 academic year.
Your primary support will be delivered at Cambridge-South Dorchester High School and Dorchester Career & Technology Center, with one day each week providing valuable services at Maple Elementary School. This is a full-time assignment (37.5 hours per week), beginning August 24th, 2026 and extending through June 10th, 2027.
Ideal qualifications and credentials:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Maryland SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in school settings or working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to create engaging activities and individualized treatment plans
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services—individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service professionals
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
- Contribute to eligibility meetings and IEP team discussions
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support student achievement
