Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting student success in a dynamic educational environment near Easton, MD! Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to a diverse caseload spanning secondary and elementary settings throughout the 2026-2027 academic year.

Your primary support will be delivered at Cambridge-South Dorchester High School and Dorchester Career & Technology Center, with one day each week providing valuable services at Maple Elementary School. This is a full-time assignment (37.5 hours per week), beginning August 24th, 2026 and extending through June 10th, 2027.

Ideal qualifications and credentials:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Maryland SLP license required
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
Previous experience in school settings or working with school-aged children preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to create engaging activities and individualized treatment plans

Key responsibilities:

Evaluate students to determine speech, language, and communication needs
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Deliver direct therapy services—individually and in small groups
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service professionals
Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
Contribute to eligibility meetings and IEP team discussions
Utilize evidence-based practices to support student achievement
