Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Weston, WV
Position Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts
Shift Requirement: Must be willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Weston, West Virginia. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team. Candidates must be dependable, punctual, and flexible to work rotating shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
  • Monitor patient conditions and report significant changes to the appropriate healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient care.
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Provide compassionate and professional care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Schedule

  • 13-week contract
  • Three (3) 12-hour shifts per week
  • Rotating shifts required (days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed)

Qualifications

Required:

  • Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
  • Current TB Test documentation
  • Up-to-date Vaccination Records
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable attendance and commitment to punctuality
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in acute care, long-term care, rehabilitation, behavioral health, or correctional healthcare settings
  • ACLS certification (if applicable)
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
