A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Registered Nurse (RN)- Veterans Facility – Full-Time. Nights.
- Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM, includes every other weekend (Block Schedule)
- Pay Rate: $63.86 an hour paid weekly
- Benefits: active after 90 days – medical, dental, vision, short term disability and life insurance
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered by the physician and within the scope of licensure.
- Receive and communicate information regarding residents' medical, social, functional, and other care needs.
- Participate in receiving and giving shift reports.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure appropriate and coordinated care.
- Perform initial nursing assessments for newly admitted residents.
- Assist with Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments, quarterly reviews, and development and implementation of resident care plans.
- Maintain accurate clinical and administrative documentation related to diagnoses, assessments, treatments, and resident progress.
- Lead and provide limited supervision to subordinate staff.
- Assist with direct resident care and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, personal hygiene, and mobility, as needed.
- Conduct and participate in in-service training and staff development programs.
- Utilize AMS concepts and tools for problem-solving, continuous process improvement, and increased efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned and related to the position.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Recent graduates and candidates with less than 1 year of skilled nursing experience are encouraged to apply
- Skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care experience preferred
