Job Title: Diesel Technician III (Truck & Trailer)
Location: Rock Hill, SC
Pay: $25-$30 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
We are seeking a mid to senior-level Diesel Technician to perform advanced diagnostics, complex repairs, and heavy-duty maintenance on trucks and trailers. This role is responsible for maximizing fleet uptime and ensuring safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel drivelines, differentials, suspension, steering systems, and 5th wheel assemblies
- Troubleshoot electrical, HVAC, hydraulic, and electronic control systems
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections (PMs) and DOT inspections
- Overhaul major components, including injectors, turbochargers, and brake systems
- Perform basic aluminum and steel welding/fabrication (preferred)
- Maintain accurate service documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
Requirements
- 2-3+ years heavy-duty diesel experience (truck & trailer)
- Expert diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
- Own tools preferred
