Job Description

The Personal Care Aide fills a very important position at Angels On Your Side Home Care. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to join our team. The Personal Care Aide will play a crucial role in providing assistance and support to clients with various personal care needs, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives in their homes. This position requires a caring and empathetic individual who is committed to improving the well-being of our clients

Some Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Have the ability to motivate others in a positive manner.
Have the ability to read and write.
Have the ability to understand and carry out instructions.
Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, the elderly and the disabled.
Have the ability to communicate effectively with patients, with their families and with co-workers.
Have the ability to organize work and schedule effectively.
Moderate to heavy lifting on occasions.
Maintain clients confidential and private document (written and verbal)

Physical Requirements:

Ability to participate in physical activity.
Ability to do extensive bending, lifting and standing on an as required basis.
Ability to work for an extended period of time while standing and being involved in physical activity as required.

Job Requirements:

One (1) year experience
Current CPR certification ( preferred)
Certified Nurse Aid or Home Health Aid (preferred)
Current Driver License, and vehicle insurance
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be able to pass a TB Skin Test & Drug screen
Must be able to pass a criminal history check
