Day to day as a Chief Engineer
As a Chief Engineer at Lodging Dynamics, you will take on a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the activities of our dedicated maintenance teams at the hotels within the designated area. You'll ensure that all repair and maintenance tasks, including our preventative maintenance program, are executed promptly and efficiently, supporting various capital repair and renovation projects along the way. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the maintenance of essential systems such as HVAC, plumbing, ensuring compliance with safety inspections and protocols. You'll also engage with vendors to discuss materials, manage tool inventories, and maintain a safe, organized work environment. With a focus on professional development, you will conduct training sessions for your team and be involved in hiring and performance evaluations.
