Job Description
Our client, an elite global law firm with a ten-figure litigation practice, is hiring an attorney at the partner level (with compensation commensurate with top AmLaw partners) to lead knowledge management across its litigation practice.
The work spans litigation knowledge infrastructure, client intelligence, and attorney development. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape how a world-class disputes platform operates, competes, and delivers value to clients

This individual will serve as a close collaborator to the leaders of the litigation practice, the executive committee, and the firm's world class knowledge management and technology innovation teams.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Building the Knowledge Foundation
- Map the litigation practice's existing KM resources and develop a roadmap to improve.
- Create well-organized, searchable repositories of litigation work product that lawyers across offices and practice areas can employ in daily practice.
- Produce practical resources: checklists, drafting guides, and template filings and motions tied to real matter needs.
- Establish processes to systematize the harvesting of institutional knowledge and to ensure resources stay accurate, current, and relevant.
Client-Facing Content and Market Intelligence.
- Build and manage client-facing litigation market intelligence covering MDL activity, mass tort trends, regulatory enforcement, antitrust developments, and notable commercial litigation outcomes.
- Develop supplementary materials including trend reports, practice briefings, and data-driven snapshots that BD and relationship partners can put in front of clients.
- Collaborate with the Litigation BD Director to make sure content reaches the right people at the right moments.
Artificial Intelligence
- Identify and develop high-value AI use cases across the litigation practice and build implementation frameworks that translate them into workflows lawyers actually use.
- Build litigation-specific AI tools on top of the firm's enterprise AI platform, working directly with AI engineers to develop applications tailored to how litigation teams actually work.
- Implement training systems to train litigation attorneys to use AI resources in their practice.
Practice Leadership and Governance
- Align closely with practice group leaders and firm leadership on priorities and direction.
- Design the staffing model for the function as it grows.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- J.D. required; litigator with 5 to 15+ years of practice experience.
- Broad familiarity across litigation disciplines: mass torts, antitrust, complex commercial, white collar, and appellate
- Background in KM, legal operations, or practice innovation is a meaningful plus.
- Familiarity with AI tools and demonstrated experience deploying AI in the litigation context is a meaningful plus.
- Able to think in systems and design infrastructure that scales..
- Strong writer and communicator, effective with both partners and firm leadership.
- Comfortable building and leading without a defined playbook.
Compensation and Location
Compensation is competitive with top legal and technology careers. Location flexibility across major U.S. offices; preference for New York, Chicago, or Washington, D.C. Three days per week in-office.
