Part time Unarmed Security Officer – Santa Barbara
Pay: $20–$22/hour (based on experience)
- Shifts: Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Additional: Occasional weekday call-outs as needed
Quest Guards is hiring dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officers to join our team in Goleta, CA. This post is calm and relaxed but requires constant alertness and professionalism. You'll be responsible for maintaining safety and security for a local shelter that provides housing, veteran services, and mental health support.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor premises to maintain safety and prevent incidents
- Respond promptly to any disturbances or emergencies
- Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports
- Uphold professional conduct and excellent customer service at all times
Requirements:
- Current California Guard Card (Required)
- Reliable vehicle and clean driving record
- Must be punctual, professional, and dependable
- Minimum 2 years' security experience preferred (training provided)
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay rate: $20–$22/hour
- Eligible for raise and/or bonus after 90-day review
