Firearms / K-Instructor

All Florida Security Services – Treasure Coast, FL

All Florida Security Services is seeking a highly qualified, safety-obsessed, "people-person" K-Licensed Firearms Instructor to join our training division.

We are looking for a prior/retired law enforcement or military professional who wants to align long-term with an established, reputable training academy and elevate the security industry with an already strong firearms program.

Schedule

· One week per month (Mon-Fri)(9am-5pm)

· Additional specialty courses optional

· Opportunity to expand into advanced handgun & long gun platforms

Who You Are

You are:

· Certified through the National Rifle Association (NRA-LE a must)

· Certified through USCCA (a plus but not mandatory)

· Range Safety Certified (required)

· Stop-the-Bleed Certified (requested)

· Experienced with both pistols and long guns

· Comfortable conducting holster and duty belt practical exercises

· Preferably experienced with the security industry

· Residing on Florida’s Treasure Coast

Your Core Responsibilities

Extreme Firearm Safety Leadership

· Absolute commitment to muzzle management and trigger discipline

· Strict enforcement of safe handling standards

· Barrel blockers and training firearms are your friends (used in our classes)

· Ability to manage multiple students simultaneously without compromising safety

· Work confidently from behind the firing line as well as in front of it

· Keep every student with the same number of holes they arrived with

Safety is not a section of the class, it is the foundation of the class.

Teaching Across Skill Levels

You must be equally effective with:

· Brand-new shooters who have never touched a firearm

· Armed security officers preparing for qualification

· Former military, police, and/or seasoned professionals

· Advanced shooters needing performance refinement

You should be able to:

· Train a complete novice on firearm safety and proficiency within the 4 days of class

· Identify and correct grip, trigger control, sight alignment, even stance issues accurately

· Improve experienced shooters with measurable performance tweaks

· Remain patient and composed at all times

· Manage cultures and classrooms, large or small, male or female without reservations or bias's

Classroom & Practical Instruction

· Conduct engaging classroom sessions (not tyrannical lectures)

· Teach defensive mindset and responsibility

· Perform practical drills with structure and discipline

· Train from holster and duty belt; and guide students on effective and correct duty gear for the job

· Have a working knowledge of firearms, nomenclature, and parts for practical exercises and cleaning protocol

· Understand the necessity of weapon retention and its concepts

· Maintain command presence without ego or arrogance
