Position: Floor TechnicianPay: $16.00/hourShift: 5:00 PM - 1:00 AMBenefits: Weekly pay, Medical, Dental, VisionJob Overview for Floor TechniciansThe Lee Group is seeking dependable Floor Technicians to join one of our valued clients. Employees will report to the company's location at the start of each shift and then be dispatched to commercial job sites as needed. In this role, you will perform specialized floor care and janitorial services while ensuring all work is completed safely and according to company and OSHA standards. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, take pride in maintaining clean environments, and are comfortable performing physically demanding tasks. Job Responsibilities of Floor Technicians

• Perform carpet cleaning using encapsulation and extraction methods.
• Strip, burnish, and refinish vinyl tile (VCT) flooring.
• Clean ceramic, quarry tile, and concrete floors using rotary equipment and hand tools.
• Perform general commercial janitorial duties as assigned.
• Maintain and clean floor care equipment.
• Follow nightly work assignments and communicate outstanding issues to management.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain awareness of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all cleaning products.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications of Floor Technicians

• Previous experience operating commercial floor care equipment is preferred but not required. Training is available.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English.
• Dependable with strong time management skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Professional communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work assignments.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements of Floor Technicians

• Work is primarily performed inside commercial buildings.
• Employees report to the company location before traveling to assigned project sites.
• Must be comfortable handling cleaning chemicals and fragrances.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing stairs, and repetitive movement.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis without assistance.
• Ability to work the scheduled evening shift and occasional weekends or holidays as needed.
• Ability to work indoors and occasionally outdoors while removing trash in various weather conditions.
• Normal visual and hearing abilities are required.

Shift Details Shift: 5:00 PM - 1:00 AMEmployees report to the company location at the beginning of each shift and are dispatched to commercial project sites.
