Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Parsippany, NJ
Pay: $17.90/hr weekdays | $18.90/hr weekends
Shift: Friday – Monday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Job Overview:
As a Part-Time Direct Support Professional, you will provide hands-on assistance, guidance, and mentorship to residents, helping them develop independence, daily living skills, and social confidence. You’ll play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with cooking, housekeeping, shopping, budgeting, hygiene, and personal medical care

  • Support residents in developing coping strategies, social skills, and friendships

  • Encourage participation in recreational and community activities

  • Promote healthy living and independence

  • Provide supervision, guidance, and mentorship in a respectful, supportive manner

Requirements:

  • 18 years or older

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Valid driver’s license

  • DSP experience preferred

  • Ability to pass State and Federal Criminal Background Checks

  • Drug screen, pre-employment physical, and PPD

  • Complete all required orientation and pre-service training
