Emish Market, located in Fife, WA, is a Ukrainian grocery store offering a wide selection of imported goods from Ukraine and other European countries. We also feature a full-service café, bakery, and meat department, serving freshly made Ukrainian dishes, sweet pastries, and specialty meats, providing a unique shopping experience for our customers.
We're looking for a dependable Janitor to help keep our store, café, and kitchen areas clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone.
What You'll Do:
- Sweep, mop, and clean floors throughout the store, café, bakery, and restrooms
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and other common areas
- Wipe down surfaces, windows, doors, and equipment as needed
- Restock cleaning supplies and paper products
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed
Work shifts available:
- 5 am - 2 pm Sunday to Thursday
- 5 am - 2 pm Tuesday to Saturday
- 3 pm - 12 am Sunday to Thursday
- 3 pm - 12 am Tuesday to Saturday
Pay Range: starting $17 per hour
Benefits: 5 paid holidays, 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 40 hours worked, an extra $2 paid per hour worked on Sunday
What We're Looking For:
- Prior janitorial or cleaning experience is helpful but not required - we'll train the right person
- Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping things clean
- Ability to work independently and stay on task
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and handle physical tasks
- Reliable and punctual
