Responsibilities:
• Represent clients in court hearings, legal proceedings, and mediations related to estate litigation and probate matters.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and provide sound advice to clients.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, settlement agreements, and contracts.
• Collaborate with paralegals, support staff, and senior attorneys to ensure client files are organized and up-to-date.
• Develop case strategies and negotiate settlements to resolve disputes efficiently while safeguarding client interests.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients to address their concerns and outline legal options.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to entry-level attorneys and staff as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Stay informed about changes in estate litigation laws and procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Uphold the firm's mission to protect executors and beneficiaries while delivering exceptional legal services.• A minimum of 6 years of litigation experience, with a focus on estate litigation and probate matters.
• Strong legal research and writing skills, with the ability to draft clear and persuasive documents.
• Proficiency in case management software and document management tools such as Adobe Acrobat.
• Solid experience in civil litigation processes, including briefing and complaint handling.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex legal issues.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for client interactions and courtroom presentations.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
