This full-time Commercial & Residential Glass Installation Specialist / Glazier position in Farmers Branch, TX involves installing glazing products for both commercial and residential projects with precision and safety. Working under a project manager and alongside a specialized glazing team, you will perform installations, take accurate measurements, and operate various tools to meet high standards. The role requires punctuality, independence, and clear communication, with opportunities for skill development and occasional travel to different sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform safe, proper installation of commercial and residential glazing products
- Fabricate glass components such as tempered glass showers, railings, storefronts, and doors
- Take accurate site measurements and interpret blueprints and plans
- Operate tools including miter saw, grinder, drill, suction cups, caulking gun, and levels
- Collaborate effectively within a specialized glazing team
- Manage and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines
- Provide clear and concise reports on completed work or issues
- Travel regularly to local sites and occasionally to other locations
- Work standard daytime shifts with occasional overtime or weekend hours
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in commercial glazing installation
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience with commercial and residential glass installation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and take precise measurements
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Spanish language proficiency
- OSHA certification
- Ability to lift 50–100 lb heavy objects
- Proficiency in English communication
