Now Hiring: Shift Manager at Burger King
- Pay Rate: $13 per hour
Position Overview:
The Shift Manager works under the direction of the Restaurant Manager. They work directly with team members and operate shifts in a restaurant. As a Shift Manager, there are multiple levels of responsibility and development. Progression through these levels is based on demonstrated skills, experience, and operational knowledge.
Profitability
- Follows all cash control and security procedures (e.g., safe counts and cash drawer management)
- Maintains inventory by performing daily and weekly inventory inspections
- Receives and verifies inventory truck orders
Guest
- Motivates and directs Team Members to exceed guest expectations by providing accurate, fast, and friendly service in a clean environment
People
- Provides coaching and feedback to Team Members to strengthen team capabilities and improve restaurant performance
Operations
- Sets a positive example for Team Members by executing shift plans and driving operational results
- Directs the efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products to ensure prompt delivery within established speed-of-service guidelines
- Motivates Team Members throughout the shift across all workstations
- Reviews restaurant results to identify successes and opportunities for improvement
- Ensures the restaurant consistently upholds operational and brand standards
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- High school diploma or GED required; two (2) years of college preferred
- One to two (1–2) years of previous quick-service restaurant experience
- Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed to support restaurant operations
