We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and vehicle maintenance, with experience working in a dealership environment. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems to ensure optimal performance.

Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines and related systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs, including brake repair, shocks, and struts.
- Fabricate parts as needed to ensure proper functioning of vehicles.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues within diesel engines.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely while performing repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and quality.
Experience
- Proven experience in diesel engine repair and vehicle maintenance is essential.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar engines is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working in a dealership setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems related to diesel engines.
- Ability to fabricate parts and components as necessary for repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience operating forklifts safely in a workshop environment.
