We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR & Payroll Manager to oversee our human resources and payroll functions. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth HR operations and accurate payroll processing in compliance with local regulations, while bridging communication and resources between our Taiwan team and our global headquarters.
Human Resources Management:
- Employee Relations (ER):
- Handle employee grievances and disputes to maintain a positive work environment.
- Implement and update workplace policies in compliance with local labor laws.
- Manage labor contracts and company policies to ensure compliance.
- Assist headquarters in conducting performance evaluations to promote employee development.
- Organize employee reward and recognition programs to enhance job satisfaction.
- Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback for improving employee retention strategies.
- Operations Management (HR Ops):
- Oversee daily HR operations, including onboarding, position changes, and offboarding processes.
- Utilize Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to optimize HR processes and improve efficiency.
Payroll Management:
- Accurately and promptly process monthly payroll calculations and disbursements.
- Deduct taxes, benefits, and other withholdings in compliance with local regulations.
- Ensure compliance with payroll tax obligations, including income tax and social insurance.
- Submit tax reports and other related documents to meet regulatory requirements.
- Maintain payroll records and documentation, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
- Generate reports required for audits and management decision-making.
- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, providing professional support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Finance, or related fields.
- At least 8 years of experience in human resources and payroll functions.
- Familiarity with Taiwan labor laws and payroll systems, ensuring all operations comply with legal requirements.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, capable of effectively managing teams and collaborating with various departments.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, able to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
- Proficiency in using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and payroll systems; experience in related fields is preferred.
