About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive OnBase Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our enterprise content management (ECM) system powered by Hyland OnBase. This role is critical to ensuring seamless document workflows, system reliability, and user support across departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for improving business processes through automation.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and support the OnBase platform, including configuration, upgrades, patching, and performance tuning
Design and implement document management workflows, forms, and integrations with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS)
Manage user roles, permissions, and security protocols to ensure data integrity and compliance
Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and translate them into OnBase solutions
Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with Hyland support as needed
Maintain documentation for system architecture, configurations, and procedures
Provide training and support to end users and internal stakeholders
Participate in cross-functional projects involving ECM, automation, and digital transformation initiatives

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience administering Hyland OnBase or similar ECM platforms
Familiarity with OnBase modules such as Workflow, Unity Forms, Application Enabler, and WorkView
Experience with SQL Server, Windows Server environments, and Active Directory
Understanding of API integrations, scripting, and basic development concepts (C#, VBScript, or JavaScript a plus)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Preferred Skills

OnBase Certified System Administrator (OCSA) or other Hyland certifications
Experience integrating OnBase with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday)
Knowledge of compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR, SOX)
Exposure to cloud-hosted OnBase environments or Hyland Cloud
