Job Purpose

The Part-Time Leasing Consultant supports leasing, marketing, and resident engagement efforts by delivering excellent service to prospects and residents while assisting the site team in achieving occupancy goals. This role contributes directly to the community’s success by representing the brand, executing leasing strategies, and maintaining strong communication throughout the customer journey.

This position requires availability during peak leasing periods, including weekends, evenings, and summer Turn. Team members must remain local during the summer season to support move-in preparation and resident transitions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to residents, prospects, and visitors
  • Conduct community and apartment tours and guide prospects through the leasing process
  • Lease apartments in alignment with occupancy goals and pricing strategy
  • Follow Fair Housing standards in all interactions and documentation
  • Support application processing including verifications and lease documentation
  • Maintain accurate prospect, applicant, and resident records in Entrata
  • Respond to calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Execute follow-up communication to nurture leads and support conversion
  • Maintain organization and professionalism within the leasing office
  • Inspect community presentation including models, amenities, and marketing paths
  • Support lease renewals and resident retention initiatives
  • Enter and communicate maintenance requests as needed
  • Assist with outreach and marketing initiatives directed by site leadership
  • Stay informed on local market and competitor activity
  • Turn and Move-In Support: Support move-in logistics during summer and coordinate move-in communication with site leadership

Qualifications

  • Customer service, sales, leasing, or marketing experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional and engaging presentation style
  • Organized with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented mindset with willingness to learn
  • Ability to interpret instructions and follow operational procedures
  • Basic math and problem-solving capability
  • Time management and accountability skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office
  • Entrata or property management software experience preferred

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED with relevant experience accepted
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience considered

Work Environment

This role operates in both office and outdoor settings and may involve standing, walking, or light lifting. The position requires frequent communication with residents and prospects and occasional schedule flexibility during peak operational periods.
