We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual in a role as a Network Specialist Journeyman . The position requires an active secret clearance (interim is acceptable) and is located at Patuxent River, MD.
No teleworking, must come in every day at customer location at Patuxent River, MD.
Requirements:
Previous or current NMCI experience is required, Security+ certification is a bonus
Duties include: NMCI computer, peripheral and network troubleshooting support, wireless LAN set-ups, infrastructure project management, port availability tracking, hardware/software ordering, maintaining data accuracy in government information technology systems, delivery completeness reporting, customer assistance, Move/Add/Change (MAC) submissions, and seat management.
In addition, the candidate also requires experience in the following areas:
• Hardware/software installation/troubleshooting, including NMCI infrastructure management
• Proficiency in Microsoft products – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing, information technology environment
• Strong customer service, verbal/written communication skills
• Database management including strong attention to detail and problem solving
• Ability to work multiple priorities simultaneously
• Skill in organizing and coordinating data calls
• Ability to work for/with difficult customers
• Ability to follow-through on any task that cannot be completed immediately
