We are a family-owned underground utility company seeking a motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. In this entry-level role, you will assist in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and machinery, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and general servicing
• Assist in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues and recommending appropriate repair solutions
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems before they become major issues
• Perform repairs under supervision and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
• Test-drive vehicles after repairs to confirm proper operation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety protocols

Requirements

• Minimum 1 Year Experience as a Mechanic Technician or similar role require
• Strong basic understanding of automotive systems and components
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and willingness to learn diagnostic skills
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various positions as required
• Must own and maintain basic hand tools
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Must possess a complete set of professional automotive hand tools and a tool box suitable for daily automotive work
