Job Description
Responsible for overseeing horses and people on the track during live races and training hours.
• Assist with the post parade for each live race.
• Assist with overseeing the horses and people on the track during live racing and training hours.
• Assist with the supervising of all licensed personnel that enter the racetrack and see that they follow the proper
procedures.
• Report all rule violations to the Stewards.
Qualifications
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be a skilled horse rider.
• Must be able to provide two horses of your own.
* Must be able to work with horsemen and give directions.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to stand and walk, reach, lift, bend, and work outside in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
