Job Details:
\n
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
\n • Every other weekend and holiday shifts required
\n • May be required to float to other units as needed
\n • Current Wisconsin (WI) nursing license required
\n • NIHSS certification required
\n • CPR/BLS certification required
\n • Education verification required
\n • Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients
\n • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, and standards of care
\n • Document according to standards of care
\n • Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient plans of care as prescribed by physician and/or hospital policy, including patient and family instruction
\n • Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance
\n • Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units and departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care
\n • Utilize critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of command
