Position Overview:
Serves as the project manager for a large, task order (or a group of task orders affecting the same system) and shall assist the Program Manager in working with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), the task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel and customer agency representatives. Under the guidance of the Program Manager, the program manager is responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s) and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner.
Required Certifications:
- Must have Project Management certification (i.e. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, other recognized certification, etc.)
- Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Serves as a Technical Expert and Advisor in the field of IT and Telecommunications Engineering Design and Implementation with a primary focus of ISP and OSP Infrastructure.
- Take applicable DLA and Host Activity site-specific safety training and obtain relevant certifications.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Ten (10) years of DoD network infrastructure design and installation experience for Inside and Outside Plant (ISP and OSP) cabling infrastructure.
- Five (5) years Project Management relevant experience
- Five (5) years of Leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields.
