Job Title: X-Ray Technician
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Hialeah, Florida


Position Summary:
A healthcare organization is seeking a qualified and compassionate X-Ray Technician to join its clinical team. The X-Ray Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging standards. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
  • Ensure radiation safety standards are followed for patients, staff, and self
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care
  • Maintain imaging equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns promptly
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and facility policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Comply with HIPAA regulations and safeguard patient confidentiality at all times
  • Provide compassionate, respectful care to patients of diverse backgrounds
  • Job responsibilities may be modified, expanded, reduced, or reassigned at any time based on operational needs and do not limit the duties of this position to those listed above

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure and/or ARRT certification (as applicable)
  • Previous experience as an X-Ray Technician preferred
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)



Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, move, and position patients as needed
  • Manual dexterity to operate imaging equipment
