Job DescriptionLHH Recruitment Solutions has a Legal Assistant role open with our client in Tampa, FL. This is a long term contract (with potential to go perm), onsite position. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a deadline-driven litigation setting and enjoys supporting a collaborative legal team. This role focuses on document preparation, case management, and day-to-day administrative support for attorneys and paralegals.
Responsibilities
• Support litigation attorneys with scheduling, correspondence, and document management
• Assist with preparing and formatting litigation documents including subpoenas, complaints, motions, and appeals
• Organize and maintain case files (electronic and hard copy)
• Conduct legal research using LexisNexis and related tools
• Maintain databases, tracking systems, and filing deadlines
Qualifications
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years' experience in a legal or litigation environment
• Paralegal certification or coursework preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research platforms
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Work Hours/Pay Rate
- Monday-Friday - 40 hours per week
- $28.85-33.65/hr.
