Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Apex Developer with deep expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce development tools. This role requires strong proficiency in integrations with third-party services via APIs and Salesforce AppExchange solutions, as well as hands-on experience in data migration and system consolidation, specifically migrating Zuora to Salesforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Custom Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and SOQL/SOSL.
- Cloud Expertise: Configure, customize, and optimize workflows, processes, objects, and automation within Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Integration: Build and maintain integrations with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and Salesforce AppExchange products.
- Migration Projects: Lead and execute Zuora-to-Salesforce migration projects, implementing effective data migration strategies, ETL processes, and reconciliation.
- Data Governance: Ensure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of migrated and integrated data, with proper error handling and validation frameworks in place.
- Collaboration: Partner with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Best Practices: Uphold Salesforce development best practices, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and security/compliance guidelines.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to solution design discussions.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7+ years of Salesforce development experience with strong command of Apex, LWC, and Salesforce APIs.
- Proven hands-on experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud implementations and customizations.
- Integration expertise using APIs, middleware (e.g., Mulesoft, Dell Boomi), and AppExchange packages.
- Successful track record of migrating Zuora to Salesforce, including large-scale data migration, mapping, and reconciliation strategies.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce data models, security model, governor limits, and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Copado, Gearset, Jenkins) and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment while ensuring compliance with banking/financial or enterprise security standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer II or Application Architect certifications.
- Experience with other industry-specific Salesforce solutions (e.g., Financial Services Cloud).
- Familiarity with Zuora Billing and Revenue data structures.
- Knowledge of enterprise data governance and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, SOX).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
