Our client located in the Madison, WI area is looking for a Certified Project Manager to join their team on a long-term contract basis. This role will work onsite in Madison, WI in a hybrid model. CANDIDATES MUST CURRENTLY LIVE IN WISCONSIN TO BE CONSIDERED.
We are seeking a Certified Project Manager III for a highvisibility role supporting largescale programs and grantfunded initiatives. This position requires strong project leadership, exceptional communication, and the ability to manage complex efforts with minimal oversight. A current PMP certification (or recognized PM curriculum) is required at the time of submission.
This is a nationwide search, and candidates must meet the eligibility requirements stated below.
Responsibilities:• Lead and coordinate the development, management, and execution of highprofile business projects
• Provide full project management oversight including work plan management, timeline monitoring, and evaluation activities
• Communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders including leadership teams, workgroups, providers, and partner organizations
• Develop automated tools and streamlined processes to support project efficiency and execution
• Manage budget tracking and grant deliverables for assigned initiatives
• Perform requirements analysis and produce project artifacts (charters, plans, schedules, status reports)
• Prepare written reports and executivelevel briefings
• Ensure transparent communication, thorough documentation, and strong collaboration throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications:Minimum Required Experience
• 10 years – Project Management experience
• 10 years – Creation of project artifacts (project plans, charters, schedules, etc.)
• 7 years – Preparing written reports
• 7 years – Strong professional communication
• 5 years – Preparing executive briefings
• 5 years – Experience using MS Project or comparable tools
• PMP certification or recognized PM curriculum (required at submission)
NicetoHave Skills
• Experience supporting or managing grantrelated work
• Experience with large governmentfunded or publicsector programs
• Experience improving internal processes using automation tools
Position Details:• Role: Certified Project Manager III
• Location: Hybrid (must reside in Wisconsin; one day/week onsite)
• Duration: February – June 2026 (long-term extension highly likely)
• Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

• Pay Range Disclosure:Codeworks discloses that the anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $50.00 and $65.00, depending on jobrelated factors and client requirements.
