Maverc Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our dedicated team. The Advanced Network Engineer supports MCTSSA operations through advanced network design, implementation, troubleshooting, and cybersecurity hardening of tactical and enterprise-level infrastructures
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement LANs, WANs, and CANs
- Analyze network traffic and application performance using packet analysis
- Provide cybersecurity hardening using STIGs, ACAS, and patch management
- Develop network baselines and modeling tools
- Manage virtual systems and security platforms (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto)
- Document and report network configurations and designs
Requirements
General Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Secret clearance with NATO access (no interim)
- Adherence to MCEN cybersecurity and operational policies
- Strong technical communication and documentation skills
Minimum Requirements:
- 7+ years of network engineering experience
- CompTIA Security+ or IAT Level II equivalent
- CCNA certification
- Wireshark Certified Network Analyst or RCPE Professional Packet Analyzer Plus
- VMware experience (vCloud)
- Microsoft Windows Server or Linux admin experience
- Security boundary technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related discipline
- CCNP or CCDP certification
- VMware Cloud Specialist certification
- IPv6, Windows Server, and Linux certifications
- Scripting proficiency (Perl, Python, PowerShell)
