We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Assistant to join our team in the Miami area. The ideal candidate will support daily security operations by monitoring access, assisting employees and visitors, maintaining a safe environment, and reporting incidents when necessary. This position is ideal for someone who is attentive, customer-service oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control building access for employees, visitors, and vendors
- Conduct routine patrols of the facility and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate visitor logs and incident reports
- Respond promptly to security concerns, alarms, or emergencies
- Assist with enforcing company safety and security procedures
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism
- Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding incidents or concerns
- Support general facility security operations as needed
Qualifications
- Previous security, customer service, or related experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Basic computer and report-writing skills
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
