Position Summary:

Position Description: DoD Antiterrorism and Force Protection Analyst

Location: On-Site, National Capital Region

Employment Category: Full-Time Employee

Travel: Yes

Deployment: No

Drug screening: Yes

Security Clearance: TS (SCI eligible) clearance required.

Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Security Studies, Homeland Security, International Relations, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.


Required Experience

•8 years of experience in antiterrorism or force protection analysis.

•Strong analytical skills with the ability to research, analyze data, identify trends, and develop sound recommendations.

•Excellent written and oral communication skills to prepare clear, concise, and persuasive reports, briefings, and presentations.

•Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

•In-depth knowledge of antiterrorism tactics, techniques, and procedures(TTPs) employed by terrorist organizations.

•Understanding of DoD force protection policies, programs, best practices, and risk management principles.

•Experience working within the DoD or a related government agency.

•Experience working with classified information.


Preferred Experience

•10 years of experience that is relevant to the requirements above.

•Experience with international security issues and terrorism threats from various regions.

•Proficiency in relevant software for data analysis and visualization to effectively present findings.

•Foreign language proficiency relevant to areas of expertise.


Salary: Commensurate on experience.


Responsibilities:

SANCORP is seeking DoD Antiterrorism and Force Protection Analyst to support the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy (OUSD(P)). The following are examples of responsibilities:

•Provide technical assessment reports on global Anti-terrorism (AT) and Force Protection (FP)activities and issues.

• Support DoD officials in maintaining the currency of DoD issuances and agreements associated with force protection policy and programs.

• Evaluate AT/FP trends and develop recommendations for DoD involvement in improving policy and programs to counter threats to DoD personnel and installations.
