The Web Developer is responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function according to client specifications. They work closely with designers and content creators to achieve a seamless user experience and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Responsibilities
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code using best practices
- Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
- Ensure website functionality across various browsers and devices
- Maintain and update websites as needed
- Collaborate with web designers and programmers to produce websites
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends
