We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our expert team, specializing in the installation, maintenance, and repair of cutting-edge coffee and espresso equipment. Experience is a plus, but what really matters is your drive and curiosity. We want someone who’s passionate about problem-solving and eager to take on new challenges. Our team of service technicians are factory-certified pros with an average of over a decade in the field, you'll be in good company.
Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Travel the region to install, repair, and maintain espresso machines, coffee brewers, grinders, and other specialty coffee equipment
- Utilize a company issued iPad to track time and materials in the FieldAware app, our field service management software
- Keep customers in the loop with timely updates on repair status and estimated timeframes
- Maintain your company-provided service vehicle in a neat, organized, and well-stocked condition
- Contribute to a tidy and efficient shop environment
- Participate in a weekly on-call rotation for after-hours service
- Assist other service technicians with installations and parts delivery
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with the ability to be insured
- Proven customer service skills with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of multimeter use
- Vo-Tech school degree; or one to two years related experience with electrical and hydraulic systems
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Chat, Drive, Calendar)
- Previous experience in the coffee industry

- Negotiable starting salary range of $44k-$54k, plus productivity bonuses that average an additional $2 per hour for technicians
