Sr. Drywall Project Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Project Manager to oversee and lead complex projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drywall, metal stud, managing project scope, timelines, and budgets while ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and project goals are met efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution using Agile methodologies.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring financial compliance and cost-effectiveness.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.
- Allocate resources effectively to maximize productivity and meet project deadlines.
- Foster team leadership and mentorship to enhance team performance and collaboration.
- Develop and implement strategic planning initiatives to align with organizational goals.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
- Resolve conflicts and address any challenges that arise during project execution.
- Implement change management processes to adapt to evolving project needs.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the drywall industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of risk management principles and methodologies.
- Experience with budgeting and financial management for projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder engagement and relationship building.
- Proficient in Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively.
- Experience in conflict resolution and negotiation.
- Familiarity with Metal Stud, Drywall, On-Screen Take Off, Quick Bid, and Scheduling is a plus.
