Our property is seeking a part-time AM and PM night auditor to join our growing group of hospitality professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to financial details, a genuine love of interacting with people, and a superior commitment to customer satisfaction. Previous hotel experience is not required, but guest service experience is highly preferred. Schedule: Night shifts (9:30 PM-6 AM/1:30 PM-9:00 PM)
Environment: Front desk/lobby area
Hazards: Minimal exposure to cleaning chemicals
Physical: Standing 85% of shift, occasional lifting
Compensation:
$22.35 hourly
Responsibilities:
Financial Operations
- Perform nightly audits to balance accounts
- Process electronic credit card deposits
- Investigate/resolve billing discrepancies
- Prepare daily financial reports
Guest Services
- Manage check-ins/check-outs
- Handle reservations and special requests
- Provide local area information
- Oversee luggage storage and mail services
Safety Compliance
- Enforce emergency procedures
- Maintain key security
- Report hazards per OSHA standards
- Handle hazardous materials properly
Administrative Duties
- Complete audit checklists
- Update guest service logs
- Archive digital records
- Act as MOD when required
Qualifications:
- Previous hotel front desk, hospitality, guest services, or night audit experience is preferred, but not required
- Excellent customer service and communication skills are required
- Overnight shift; requires flexible hours
