We are currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our warehouse team in the Smyrna area. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for dependable candidates with strong sit-down forklift experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, general labor environment.
As a Forklift Operator/Material Handler, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment, moving and staging materials, and preparing shipments for delivery to various job sites.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently in a large warehouse environment.

Move, load, unload, and stage materials for outgoing shipments.

Maneuver a forklift safely through tight and confined spaces.

Follow verbal instructions communicated through a two-way radio clearly and efficiently.

Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work area.

Assist with general warehouse and material-handling duties as needed.

Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
Requirements:

Strong previous sit-down forklift experience required.

Ability to safely maneuver a forklift in tight quarters.

Comfortable working in a physically active, general labor environment.

Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively.

Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Must be available to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Schedule:
1st Shift: 6:00AM-6:00PM($18.50/hr)

2nd Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM($19.00/hr)

Overtime and weekend availability required.
