Merridian, a dynamic home furnishings retailer, seeks an experienced and motivated Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, drive sales, and lead a retail team toward business growth and excellence in customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of daily store operations according to company policies
Motivate and supervise staff to increase sales and maintain efficiency
Oversee stock management, merchandising, and promotional displays
Handle staffing functions including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reviews
Maintain quality standards for customer service, safety, and presentation
Respond promptly to customer issues and feedback
Analyze sales data and market trends to support strategic decisions
Participate in meetings and communicate updates on store performance and initiatives
Qualifications
3–5 years of retail management experience
Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
Proven track record of increasing sales and profitability
Experience in merchandising, budgeting, and team development
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
Additional Details
Flexible schedule including some Saturdays
Typically no more than 45 hours per week
