Job Title: Senior ASIC Verification Engineer
Job Location: Santa Clara, CA or Boston, MA
Compensation: $150K - $250K base DOE plus equity
Requirements: ASIC/SoC Verification, RTL Verification, UVM / SystemVerilog, High-Speed Interconnects (Ethernet, UCIe, PCIe, CXL, UALink), Memory Subsystem
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ASIC Verification Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the functionality and reliability of our ASIC products through thorough verification processes. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in verification methodologies and a deep understanding of complex SoC architectures. You will propose and setup the optimum verification methodology. You will be part of an early-stage startup working on an exciting product in the Artificial Intelligence/DataCenter space. The work involves learning advanced LLM in modern data centers and applications to design memory acceleration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute verification plans for ASIC designs
- Utilize UVM and SystemVerilog for creating testbenches and simulations
- Analyze design specifications to ensure comprehensive coverage
- Collaborate with design engineers to understand design intent and provide feedback
- Perform RTL verification and validate key components including memory subsystems and interconnect architectures
- Contribute to post-silicon validation efforts to ensure product performance
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in ASIC verification techniques
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in ASIC/SoC verification
- Strong expertise in UVM and SystemVerilog
- In-depth knowledge of high-speed interconnects such as Ethernet, PCIe, UCIe, CXL, and UALink
- Familiarity with RTL verification methodologies and tools
- Experience with memory subsystem design and verification
- Understanding of advanced process nodes and their implications on design
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
