Part-Time Seasonal: We’re looking for an energetic, friendly Bakery Counter Sales Associate to join our front-of-house team immediately and work through December 2025. The ideal candidate enjoys connecting with customers, learning about our bakery items, and providing exceptional service in a warm, welcoming environment. This position may be open for re-hire as permanent part-time beginning in February 2026.
Schedule: Thursday–Saturday, 7:00am – 1:00pm, 18 hours guaranteed per week (some additional days/hours may be available during the holiday season).
Responsibilities

Greet customers, take orders, and process sales accurately

Describe pastries, baked goods, and specialty products with enthusiasm and product knowledge (including basic French pronunciation of items)

Prepare and package bakery items for customers

Maintain a clean, organized counter and display area

Restock products and merchandise, and assist with light opening and closing tasks

Assemble pastry boxes and food item packaging

Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management
Qualifications

Previous food service or retail experience preferred

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Friendly, professional, and reliable

Interest in learning about French pastries and ingredients

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting and to stand for up to 7 hours
Compensation & Perks

$13 per hour plus shared tips (tipped wages typically range from $18-$24 per hour)

Guaranteed 18 hours per week (Thursday–Saturday schedule); plus potential for additional hours and days during the holiday season
