Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: The Woodlands, TX
Compensation: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in The Woodlands, TX. This role will be responsible for supporting the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, payment processing, and resolving discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience working in a high-volume AP environment, and hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion.
Key Responsibilities
- Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
- Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation
- Perform three-way matching between purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documentation
- Enter and maintain invoice and vendor information in Oracle Fusion
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Research and resolve invoice, payment, and account issues
- Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, account balances, and payment status
- Assist with weekly payment processing, including ACH, checks, and wires
- Maintain accurate AP records and documentation
- Assist with month-end close activities, including AP reconciliations and accruals
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
- Partner with internal departments to resolve invoice and payment issues
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
- Required: Oracle Fusion experience
- Strong understanding of full-cycle accounts payable processes
- Experience with three-way matching and vendor reconciliations
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a high-volume AP environment
- Experience with multiple entities or locations
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus
- Experience supporting month-end close activities
