Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney with a background in creditor representation to manage a sophisticated portfolio of matters for financial institution clients. This role involves direct client management and comprehensive case handling from initiation through to resolution.
Key Responsibilities:

Represent creditors and real estate secured lenders in all phases of litigation.

Manage a docket of cases from inception through trial, appeal, or settlement.

Draft, review, and file substantive pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents.

Conduct and defend depositions, examinations, and witness preparation.

Appear remotely and in-person for hearings, conferences, and other court proceedings.

Serve as primary point of contact for clients, providing strategic guidance and regular case updates.

Perform complex legal analysis and develop creative, solution-oriented case strategies.

Collaborate seamlessly with attorneys across corporate, securities, and transactional teams on interrelated matters.

Maintain meticulous timekeeping and case documentation in accordance with firm standards.
Qualifications Requirements:

Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.

3–15 years of substantive civil litigation experience.

Proven experience representing creditors, financial institutions, or real estate secured lenders is highly preferred.

Familiarity with real estate litigation, unlawful detainer actions, and/or bankruptcy proceedings is a significant advantage.

Exceptional abilities in legal writing, research, oral advocacy, and client communication.

A self-directed professional with the initiative to manage cases independently while contributing to team objectives.
