Guaranteed hours apply when the traveler remains onsite and available to work, but the facility cannot provide sufficient patient volume or treatment opportunities to fulfill those hours. If a treatment session is missed or shortened, the traveler is expected to make reasonable efforts to reschedule or complete the remaining treatment when clinically appropriate and consistent with the patient s plan of care, tolerance, and availability.
