Maintenance Technician - NIGHT SHIFT
Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and equipment within the facility. This role involves performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanics and food processing equipment maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify issues and prevent breakdowns.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement appropriate repairs in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, preferably in a food processing environment.
- Strong mechanical skills and understanding of machinery and equipment maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance work.
