Office Administrator/Dispatcher (Night Shift)

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Night Shift Office Administrator/Dispatcher to join our team at our Port of Oakland distribution facility. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to working night shift only.

Schedule

Monday–Friday (or as scheduled)
5:00 PM – 3:30 AM
This is a permanent night shift position.

Pay

Up to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Dispatch and communicate with drivers throughout the night.
Plan and adjust delivery routes as needed.
Process customer orders and accurately enter data into company systems.
Prepare and process invoices.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Answer incoming phone calls and provide excellent customer service.
Coordinate with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure timely deliveries.
Maintain accurate records and reports.
Perform general office and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous experience in dispatch, transportation, logistics, or office administration preferred.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
Experience with invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to working overnight hours.
