Job DescriptionReal Estate Paralegal
We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, hardworking, and detail-oriented. Responsibilities:
- Assist attorney with both Commercial and Residential Real Estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, refinances, and leasing matters.
- Prepare, review, and organize transactional documents, including contracts of sale, deeds, mortgages, loan documents, riders, easements, estoppels, SNDAs, and closing binders.
- Coordinate and track due diligence items, including title commitments, surveys, inspections, zoning documents, environmental reports, and corporate documentation.
- Review title reports and surveys and assist in identifying and clearing title issues.
- Communicate with clients, lenders, realtors, title companies, surveyors, municipalities, and opposing counsel.
- Prepare and manage closing checklists, closing statements, and post-closing deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3–5 years of previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); experience with document management systems is a plus
- Paralegal certificate preferred but not required with relevant experience
