Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Analyze, decompose, and define functional data requirements based on AF and DoD Supply Chain and Logistics business processes.
  • Prepare data requirement deliverables that align business rules, LRPs, Roles and Responsibilities and authoritative data sources to business data attributes within and across projects and systems.
  • Works with senior management, business partners and external vendors to define parameters and requirements for Information Exchanges.
  • Responsible for collaborating with other SMEs for data gathering, requirements review and prioritization, business process, and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Analyze and decompose highly complex analytical reports related to AF legacy system data requirements.
  • Create test automation and integrate the tests into DevOps delivery pipeline.
  • Teach other testers how to create automated tests and integrate them into the DevOps delivery pipeline.
  • Conducting automated and manual regression testing against all test cases to ensure that new code, functionality, or new releases have not introduced errors to existing functionality.
  • Testing the system capabilities to ensure functionality, interoperability, and data validation across distributed components in the system.
  • Constructing regularly scheduled automated testing on source code that is checked into a code repository to ensure build integrity and compliance with coding patterns/practices.
  • Conducting testing (either automated or manual) to take code from a code repository and exercise it to ensure that it can be compiled and released to a working environment.
  • Conducting manual or automated testing to ensure compliance with applicable compliance standards.
  • Coordinate and facilitate data workshops, maintain configuration control of data deliverables, manages and adjudicates deliverable feedback.
  • Consults/prepare briefings as required.
  • Provide data-centric analytic guidance and support to the Enterprise Architecture and Integration Teams

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications

  • Education Requirements: Five (5) or more years of experience in data manipulation and visualization, research methodology, applied statistics or business intelligence solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics, related discipline or 5-10 years equivalent experience.
  • Level of Experience Requirements: Five (5) or more years of experience with data modeling and extracting data from various data sources.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance; requires US Citizenship.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Experience in data modeling, taxonomies, ontological models, and systems analysis required.
  • Familiarity with DoD and USAF data LRPs, to include DoD 4100.39, DoD and USAF Supply policies working knowledge of DLMS Transactions and Guidelines, IT Architecture Standards, and SDDP or BCAC methodology desired.
  • Demonstrated competence with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Publisher and SharePoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate technical and business information effectively to both technical and non-technical people.
  • Ability to understand our business, be a team player and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem solving/decision-making skills.
  • Experience leading and influencing others, including senior level personnel.

Job is performed in a remote setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is a home office setting. Travel may be required.
