Akkodis is seeking a Deskside Technician for a Contract job with a client in Maple Grove, MN. Responsibilities include installing and troubleshooting PCs and network equipment, and providing end-user support for hardware, software, and phone systems.
Rate Range: $25/hour to $30/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Deskside Technician job responsibilities include:

Provide on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.

Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues for end users.

Respond to and resolve service tickets and incidents in a timely manner, often using a help desk system.

Support network connectivity issues, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN troubleshooting.

Assist with hardware upgrades, imaging, and deployments of new systems.

Maintain accurate documentation of issues, solutions, and asset inventory.
Desired Qualifications:

Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft) are a plus.

Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in deskside or technical support roles.

Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues in a high-volume support environment.

Excellent communication skills and ability to confidently support end users across various departments.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
